A computer organisation refers to the level of abstraction above the digital logic, but below the operating system level. The major components of a computer organisation are functional units or subsystems that correspond to specific pieces of hardware built from lower level building blocks. Computer organisation deals with the computer's architecture i.e memory, registers, RAM, ROM, CPU and the likes.
